Private Otter Encounters
Do you want to have an otter encounter at Paws & Claws Animal Encounters and only have friends & family with you? This is what you've been looking for!
We are proudly the first USDA licensed facility in Ohio to allow hands-on interaction with our Asian small-clawed otters. Each encounter is presented by our staff and will consist of up to 4 different species of animals, including the otters! We will make the determination prior to each encounter which animals are suited and have the temperament to interact with everyone. These can include a fox, skunk, armadillo, kangaroo, kinkajou, lesser anteater, and more!
This is NOT a swimming encounter.
Otter Encounters take place inside our climate-controlled encounters barn. We're prepared to have fun no matter the weather! Children under the age of 3 are not permitted and those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
As with all encounters, we book according to the number of people in our barn. If you want to bring a friend and they will be in the encounter with you, even just to watch, they will need to purchase a ticket as well. This isn't negotiable.
